My name is Marie Cloud, I am owner and principal designer of Indigo Pruitt Design Studio. My room here at the showhouse is “The Renewal Retreat.”
I think adding natural stone throughout the space allowed there to be like just a consistent natural flow so from the time you walk into the space, right, the awning that's over you, that doorway, is draped in that natural stone and then you have that same material, you know, in a tucked away nook, it adds a literal natural element, but it’s very soothing.
The blue quartzite really is my favorite element in the space, it was the first thing I selected before I had a concept, before I had any idea what I was doing in here, I fell in love with that colorway. It’s a unique color that you don’t see often in natural materials, it’s also a color that’s important to me. The indigo dye is obviously a very intentional name that my firm is named after and that’s like a little nod to that indigo historical element and that scientific touch of the hue that, you know, stands to test the time.
The initial thing that stood out for me with Primestones was, they had things I had never seen before. They had things that I didn’t even know existed and one of those was that Cristallo Blue. If you’re looking for unique pieces, unique slabs that you can’t find anywhere, Primestones is your way to go. If you’re looking for a great team that is going to support you and your vision from start to finish, that’s the team you should be working with, hands down whether you’re a designer or a homeowner.
